I made a mistake in my order, what now?
Don't panic. If you wish to change your order, please contact us as soon as possible. You can do this by calling our shop at 020-7750510 or by sending an email to info@hetkoekemannetje.nl.
On which days do you ship?
Currently, we ship from Monday to Thursday. You should receive your cookies one day after the shipping date.
Why do I choose a shipping date instead of a delivery date?
We work with DHL to deliver the cookies to your home as quickly as possible. In principle, you will receive the cookies the next day. During extremely busy periods or due to other unforeseen reasons, the order may be delayed at the sorting center. As we have no control over this, we opt for a shipping date. This allows us to guarantee that we bake the cookies on the chosen shipping date and hand them over to DHL.
In principle, the cookies will be delivered the next day between 08:00 and 19:00.
How long do the cookies stay fresh?
Our cookies have a shelf life of at least 5 days. If you store the cookies for a long time, we recommend warming them up. Place the cookies in the oven for 2 minutes at 180°C. Then let the cookies rest for 4 minutes. The cookies will stay fresh in the freezer for at least 2 months.
Please note: do not place the cookies on a wire rack, as they may fall apart.
Business
In addition to our cookies being fun and delicious to give as gifts to friends or family, our cookie boxes and tins also make original corporate gifts. For example, for colleagues celebrating their birthdays or as a thank you after collaborations. We can include a matching personalized message in the tins. Can I also place an order for pickup?
The webshop is primarily intended for people who cannot come to the store but still want to enjoy our cookies. Therefore, you do not need to place an order to pick up our cookies. Our store is open every day from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM, and we bake fresh cookies throughout the day.
Our birthday and heart-shaped cookies must be ordered via the webshop for pickup, as we only make these to order.
Do you have a large order? Then it would, of course, be helpful if we knew this in advance. You can call 020-7750510 or email info@hetkoekemannetje.nl, and we will ensure the cookies are ready for you at the desired time!
How does your shipping and delivery work?
If you order today before 4:00 PM, we will ship your cookies the next day if desired (depending on the selected shipping date). When ordering in the webshop, you can choose your preferred shipping date. Delivery on Sundays and Mondays is not possible.
We work with DHL to deliver the cookies to you. In 98% of cases, they deliver the cookies the day after the shipping date. Unfortunately, delays from DHL sometimes occur. We have no influence on this and therefore cannot 100% guarantee a delivery date. If you really need the cookies by a specific time and day, we recommend choosing an extra day earlier as the shipping date.
What's the best way to store the cookies?
The cookies are best kept in our cookie jar or another airtight container outside of the refrigerator. Do you want to store the cookies for longer than 5 days? In the freezer, the cookies will stay good for at least 2 months.
Which allergens do the cookies contain?
EGG: All our cookies contain egg.
GLUTEN: All our cookies contain gluten. Unfortunately, we currently do not have any gluten-free options.
LACTOSE: We use white, milk, and dark chocolate in all our cookies. This chocolate contains lactose. We do not have any lactose-free options.
NUTS: The white chocolate macadamia, hazelnut, and pepernoot (gingerbread) cookies contain nuts. We work with nuts in our store, so other cookies may contain traces of nuts.
