We create the ultimate cookie experience.
Het Koekemannetje opened its doors on July 26, 2020. The first store is located in the Negen Straatjes in the center of Amsterdam. We bake fresh cookies all day long in the store, so the scent of freshly baked cookies escapes no one.
In July 2020, David and Alain opened their first store on Runstraat in Amsterdam. Baking started at a young age, and opening a cookie store together was a dream come true.
The Ferris wheel
If you've been to our shop, you can't have missed it: our beautiful Ferris wheel in our display window. But what you might not know is that the wheel holds monumental value for us.
The wheel was built in 1981 by Albert Quist for the Wittetandenwinkel and has been in the Runstraat for almost 50 years. We have restored the wheel and are extremely proud to display it in our window. Every other store has an exact replica of this Ferris wheel!
Sustainability
Our products are 100% natural, and we do not use artificial fragrances, colours, or flavourings. In addition, we use plastic-free packaging, so no cookie leaves our shop in plastic. We even have the first plastic-free coffee cups where the plastic inner layer has been replaced by a compostable 'water-based' coating.
To encourage our customers, we offer a 10% discount on our cookies and drinks if you return with our beautiful cookie tins or steel coffee cups.
